Old Glory
Arabians

Hi it’s me Britta, horses have been part of my life from the very beginning.  The year I was born 1972, my great-grandfather, Arthur, set me on a horse when I was a baby, and from that moment on I did everything I could to spend time around ponies and horses. My first “big horse” was a Half-Arabian, and by the time I was twelve I had my first Purebred Arabian and began "A Circuit" showing. Over the years, I worked in different barns, trained as a hunter-jumper professional, and eventually retired from training in 2008. (To help raise 6 amazing humans.)

Even after stepping back from professional training, horses remained a part of our family. Our children had ponies and horses of their own, and my husband, Bob, was involved and supportive as well. In 2020, we bought  him with his personal first horse, "Cactus", for Christmas—and that gift was the spark that launched his involvement and passion for horses and riding. In 2018 my best friend Holly Connaker who I ironically met as kids showing Arabians, invited me to cheer her on at US Nationals.
She's heart- fully apologized to Bob but thankfully encouraged me back into the saddle and I have since competed in western pleasure and halter with our lovely mares, namely the multi National Champion Promise Me J and the beautiful Pristina J.

Since then, our family has grown more deeply into the Arabian community, breeding both Arabians and Half-Arabians. Bob made his amazing main ring halter debut and began showing Dream Angel BA who went on to compete successfully at Scottsdale and U.S. Nationals—ultimately earning her the title of National Horseman’s #1 Halter Mare in the country. That experience cemented our now mutual passion for these special horses.

This year, our son William stepped into the show ring for the first time, making his main ring halter debuts’ with Kaia TRF and Black Ink CRF. He will be presenting each of them in amateur halter at U.S. Nationals, carrying forward our family’s love of Arabians into the next generations.

Today, Old Glory Arabians is home to a growing herd, including foals enrolled in major futurities such as AWPA, Fall Fest, Scottsdale Signature, and Region 12 Spotlight. We’re proud to raise foals with halter, performance and ranch utility in mind—horses that not only excel in the show rings, but also carry us across pastures as we check cattle and work the ranch as our partners and friends.

For us, Arabians are more than a breed—they are passionate part of our family story. From a great- grandfather’s gift of a first ride to a family’s shared passion, Old Glory Arabians is built on heritage, heart, and a vision for the future. Come say hi to us at Nationals we are more than happy to introduce you to the horses and please join us in cheering on the effervescent Rhan Burgundy OG in yearling colts with us, dressed as your favorite Anchorman character. With love, support and enthusiasm, all of us at Old Glory!

BLACK INK CRF

(Vitorio TO x Star Of Justica ORA)

2018 Black Stallion
Minnesota Medallion

Bold, brilliant, and unmistakably typey, Black Ink CRF is a striking black stallion whose pedigree is saturated with international champions and icons of the Arabian breed. Sired by the legendary Vitorio TO, a global halter powerhouse and multiple-time National Champion, and out of Star of Justice ORA, a daughter of WH Justice, Black Ink CRF carries some of the breed’s most coveted bloodlines for type, beauty, athleticism and charisma. His foals have all inherited his trademark fun and willing personality that makes them ideal performance partners.
